Mathieu LaFrombois
Intern

Hi! My name is Mathieu (Matt) LaFrombois. I’ve been a follower of Christ since I was about 7 years old when my mom helped me dedicate my life to Christ on the way to school. Since then, experiences like playing sports, battling poor mental health, and serving as a youth group leader here at Hope have strengthened my relationship with Christ. I’m originally from St. Paul Minnesota but am now based in Stillwater with my parents. I’ve been attending Hope ever since one of my best friends invited me to a Hope youth group Christmas party in 6th grade and I’ve helped as a leader in the Youth Group since the fall of 2020. I graduated from Bethel University in the spring of 2022 with a degree in Biokinetics (a lot like Exercise Science or Kinesiology) and am seriously considering going back to school to become a Physical Therapist after my time as an LDI intern. Through LDI, I hope to develop ministry skills, form habits that will help deepen my relationship with God, and spread Christ’s light around Hope. I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve been granted and am looking forward to any way I can help this church.
By completing this transaction, I understand that I am giving a gift directly to this individual, not to the Leadership Development Institute of Hope Community Church. Gifts are given directly to the individual to maximize the impact on the recipient by reducing added fees.. I understand that this is not considered a charitable gift, and that I will not be receiving a tax deduction. A member of the Leadership Development Institute staff will be reviewing these funds with the intern to ensure proper accountability and stewardship of funds received.
