Best “Buts” in Scripture (2024 Retreat)
Throughout the Bible, God places a few well timed “buts” where the bad news about what we have done shifts to the “but…” good news of what God is doing in rescuing us. Come join us for LDI’s Winter Retreat as we learn about the “best buts” in Scripture and how these “buts” play a role in our relationship with God. There will be five to six short talks on different passages along with small group discussion. Throughout the weekend there will also be time for outdoor winter activities, games, and downtown time with fellow Hopesters.

Our LDI Winter Retreat is held at Oak Forest Retreat Center in Frederic, WI. The mission of Oak Forest is to draw adults into a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus Christ, based on the absolute truth of God’s Word and by providing an excellent retreat center in a peaceful environment. There are ample opportunities for both indoor and outdoor activities, cozy & quiet spaces for reflection, and comfortable hotel-style rooms.
